Do you want to attend the WSHNA conference, but there’s no money in the budget for it? You may be able to get your travel, lodging and conference fees funded through grants that are widely available to law enforcement agencies nationwide.

Does your city, county or state have a VAWA DV Stop grant?Or any other DV related law enforcement funding available? Most agencies do.This year’s conference deals directly with negotiator response to these incidents.

Does your city county or state have Homeland Security funding or local DEM funds available? This year’s conference features training relatedto suicide bombers and IED recognition (Federal Emergency Management Agency Course #PER-232-2)

These grants have already been awarded, so there are no lengthy application processes or headaches.
