What is the utilization of tactical dispatchers for SWAT/HNT call outs?

it depends on the type of call out if we use them. If it is a major event we do if not we don't

The tactical dispatchers have been such a valuable asset at every incident. From every task such as suspect background and intellgence research to keeping notes and being on the front line for quick information relaying between the teams. If they are at the command post with you, they are absorbing the incident as it happens and will be that much quicker to react to your requests. If they are just dedicated to you at the communication center, they will not be distracted by other duties that they would normally have to juggle when operating a channel. I definately would recommend having tactical dispatchers train and respond to all call outs with the SWAT/HNT teams.
